I was lucky enough to live very close to the path of totality, so I took a quick drive to see my first total solar eclipse.
The images of totality didn't work out, but my little Astroscan with a white light solar filter was a little champ for watching the eclipse. Unfortunately, it is not very good for imaging, but I managed to get a few passable shots through the eyepiece.
Despite some light clouds, views were excellent and totality did not disappoint.
